Soon after the surgery, Dan was unable to walk because different parts of his body began to shut down. He was then transferred to intensive care as doctors said he might stop breathing. Dan later developed Bell’s palsy, a condition that causes non-permanent weakness or paralysis of the facial muscles. In this case, his face is down, so it is difficult for him to report.
