Will Scorpion appear in a future Spider-Man sequel?

An underrated Spider-Man villain is Mac Gargan, better known as Scorpion. Sure, he’s been around for a while, but he’s not been used in other forms of media as much as he should be. Over the years, the comics have grown him into a bigger villain to the other heroes, to the point where McGagan became a villain. For example, at one point in his criminal career he was able to remove the Scorpion suit from his body. Guess what became a substitute? A true venom symbiote. As Venom, he has a slightly different appearance compared to Eddie Brock’s Venom. The only really noticeable difference is that he has students. Granted, it’s not the same Venom we’ve all become Eddie Brock fans, but he’s a good makeshift replacement. When he became Venom, McGagan was recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. as a member of the Thunder team to hunt down the Anti-Registration hero. He later went on to become the “Spider-Man” of the Dark Avengers under Norman Osborn’s Iron Patriots. It was cool, but we ended up getting Venom back. On top of that, Mac Gargan is so cool as a Scorpion.
I remember playing the old Spider-Man game from 2000 on Playstation and he was the first boss you had to fight. The game honors the origins of the comics very much, because the reason you fight him in the first place is to defend J. Jonah Jameson. The origins of Scorpion began when J. Jonah Jameson hired private investigator Mac Gargan to find out how Peter Parker got such a fantastic photo of Spider-Man. When Peter was able to avoid Gargan due to his spider sense, Jameson decided to hire Gargan as a test subject for a dangerous experiment. Experiment: Give Gargan the powers of a scorpion, equip him with a mechanical suit and a club-like tail that he can use as a projectile weapon. The experiment was initially successful, as Scorpion was able to defeat Spider-Man twice using his new suit and powers. Even his idea of ββbecoming a scorpion is based on the fact that scorpions are the natural enemies of spiders. Because of this, Scorpion proves to be a very tough foe for Spider-Man, who often relies on his wits and wits to defeat him.
The chemical manipulation and mutagenic effects of scorpion DNA splicing have led to increasingly impaired thinking by Mac Gargan. This led him down the path of crime and fueled a fierce hatred of J. Jonah Jameson, the man who recruited him for his experiments. That’s what led to the ongoing conflict with Spider-Man and intensified their rivalry. It’s fun to watch them fight, and it’s even more fun to fight him if you play video games. You can go back to the Spider-Man game from 2000, the movie game from 2002, or the more recent Spider-Man game from 2018, and you can fight him and Rhino at the same time. It was a really tough boss fight, and it was a lot of fun. Could we get something similar in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Mac Gargan made his MCU debut in 2017 in Spider-Man: Homecoming. He started out as a dangerous criminal trying to buy weapons from Adrian Toombs, but was seriously injured in a fight with Spider-Man. He later appeared in prison and asked Adrian Toombs if he really knew Spider-Man’s identity, which Toombs denied. Aside from setting the future of Mac Gargan for Scorpion, the fact that he is played by Michael Mando is fantastic.
With all of this in mind, I know fans want to see him don the Scorpion. This will be the first time we’ve seen a live-action adaptation of the villain, and it’s long overdue. The only thing that might be holding back is the current direction of the Spider-Man trilogy. I know I don’t have to mention what happened in Spider-Man: No Way Out. We’ll see some familiar faces, including some old villains. Sadly, Michael Mando’s Scorpion doesn’t belong in this group because he hasn’t fit in yet. That doesn’t mean he’ll never be a scorpion, but that doesn’t happen in No Way Home. That’s okay, because there are enough villains in Nowhere to Go. What will happen after Spider-Man? We won’t know until next week, but there’s always room for more villains. In this case, the MCU’s Mac Gargan already has a grudge against Spider-Man, so the competition has been established. On top of that, he specifically told Adrian Toomes that he had some people out there who would “like to meet” Spider-Man. Is this set for the MCU’s evil six? Maybe maybe not, but it does make for an interesting conflict anyway. Because of what he told Adrian Toomes, I believe McGagan will use his criminal connections to help him hunt down Spider-Man. If he does become a Scorpion, that will give him an edge and put him in a leadership position. Whichever way he shows up, I think it would be a cool fight to see him and Spider-Man duel. It might happen briefly in No Way Home, but I think he’ll be Scorpion in a future sequel. If Tom Holland stayed in the MCU, their fight was inevitable.
