The crossover is very neat. Comprising 1,432 individual pieces, it marks LEGO’s foray into real-life motorsports.
But the price of the LEGO McLaren F1 car means only those with the spare cash can afford it – $179.99 in LEGO website.
For buyers elsewhere, it will cost: Germany €179.99 / UK £159.99 / AU$279.99 (via Bricktastic Blog).

It is only suitable for people 18 years and older. Presumably this is partly due to its many parts. Buyers are estimated to earn 1,170 LEGO VIP points.
This complete build 13cm (5″) high, 27cm (10.5″) wide, 65cm (25.5″) long. James Key, technical director of the McLaren Formula 1 team, described the model as “a great metaphor for trying to be successful in Formula 1”.

What actual model is the LEGO McLaren F1 car based on?
According to the description on the LEGO website, it is a model replica of McLaren’s 2022 F1 car, the MCL36.
Every McLaren himself Press releasewhich “celebrates McLaren’s iconic papaya livery on the MCL35M car” – from 2021 – but also offers an “interpretation” of the new look of the F1 car for 2022.
It’s LEGO model #42141.
Other LEGO racing crossovers include a model Ferrari 488 GTE “AF Corse #51” (retails at $169.99, slightly less than a McLaren F1 car) and the aforementioned Lamborghini.there’s still one BMW M 1000 RR Model motorcycles are priced at $229.99.
