Why the Black Widow movie went from most anticipated to rather disappointing
You know how sometimes we’ve been waiting for something too long and waiting just overwhelms the feeling of finally getting what we’ve been waiting for? Well, if we have to make it short, black widow Movies from Marvel’s stables, otherwise good movie horses, we’ll say so.Luckily, we really don’t have to be short, which is why we can bring you this list of 10 reasons why black widow From most anticipated to rather disappointing.
Reason 1: It’s a little late
Late but worth the wait? Well, maybe we’ll pass this on.This is easily one of the most important reasons black widow Seems to be a bit off from the start. Even when the movie was announced, we knew it would have to go the extra mile to make up for viewers who waited too long for the movie. Unfortunately, the film doesn’t really go much further. In some cases, it didn’t even reach the finish line! Maybe it’s just the wait, or maybe it’s all the other reasons combined, but when viewers have watched 134 minutes of the story, they do wish they’d seen it sooner.
Reason 2: The last 1/3 of the movie seems to end in a hurry
What’s up with Marvel, they always seem to lose the plot midway through, or if we’re lucky, somewhere near the end? Well, we can’t be quite sure of this, but after a little more than the first half of the film, things do seem to go wrong, and while the iconic shot at the end piques our interest again, we’re hoping the last bit is a little tight. It almost looks like Marvel is approaching its deadline and isn’t managing the timeline well. This is where reality happens – the studio has plenty of time to do it! So disappointment hurts even more! Come on Marvel, we look forward to more. We always do. Time to start delivering!
Reason 3: Time travel is not a happy thing
Some films have this rare quality of taking the audience back and forth on different journeys in time, yet melding them together to weave the perfect storyline. All right, black widow Not one of those movies. The discourse seems loose at best, and the film doesn’t even manage to make up for the lost time. In fact, the only thing that doesn’t require additional attention from the audience gets the most attention. Above all, we need to keep forgetting about Natasha’s dramatic and untimely death, but only half-heartedly trying to tell her story. If the plot is more convincing, we can play together. no. So, we can’t.
Reason 4: The lawsuit stole some thunder
We can all agree that Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanova overwhelms even the fictional character and plays it so perfectly that we can hardly imagine anyone else playing it.It may be the strong contradiction between the actor’s helplessness towards the studio that forced her file a lawsuit As well as the on-screen lady boss, even the most dangerous villains from the entire universe can stop them from dying in their tracks. Or maybe it’s just Johansson’s bold move that makes us want to support her more than ever! Whatever our personal reasons—and that doesn’t take away the courage Johansson has shown in his confrontation with the studio giant—we do find ourselves going back and forth on news of movies and lawsuits.
Reason 5: The pre-launch hype is a bit too much
We waited, we waited, and then, we waited for a while. Through it all, we tell ourselves that Johansson will bring a storyline that will do absolutely justice to her eighth film as Black Widow. Then they told us to wait a little longer. Through it all, we are a patient audience and do what we can to keep the hype alive, all on our own. While we had to add our own magic dust to make this wait bearable in every way, we somehow think this movie will make up for it in the end. Unfortunately, there are too many years to make up for it. The hype surrounding the title only seems to work against it. In the end, it might not even be a tedious thing, but waiting does make it look like this!
Reason 6: It’s the same old Russian spy story again
We know this. We know this because we always know how it will play out, and we know it because we see dozens of movies every year exploring the same subplot. This storyline has just lost its screen brilliance and patriotic glory, despite new angles, new portrayals, new plans, and new variants of all Russian hatred of America, and vice versa. Revisiting the same story again is a little too tedious for viewers, and despite our efforts to restore the seemingly innate hatred of each other that some of the movie’s plot hoped to provoke, it’s gone. Russians don’t hate Americans anymore. Neither do Americans. Hate Russians, we mean. But the longer they keep us going, the more we start to hate these scripts!
Reason 7: Too many fake family emotions
Hmm… Could it be that someone has completely forgotten that this family is a hypocritical family, does it really not need to have so many feelings for each other? Especially since they were spies and killed dozens of people as if it was part of a routine supermarket trip? Emotions were so high in this episode that despite the viewers’ efforts to keep up with it, they ended up ignoring the drama entirely and trusting the action scenes to pull them through. Audiences are no longer stupid, they need more than thoughtful scenes to accompany the story. They need the story to be convincing and have some meaning!
Reason 8: A terrific actor lost his talent in the melee
Sometimes too much happens, and sometimes the high-speed sequences and equally bewildering twists and turns in the story just make audiences want more actors to show their true talents. Scarlett Johannson, Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz, Olga Kurylenko… the list goes on, but unfortunately, when you consider it’s time for them to shine, the movie seems to shut them out. in the end, black widow Makes you want more. Oh no, not more movies. More cast! Oh, and especially Scarlett Johansson. This is supposed to be her movie, remember? But there’s more in our Reason #10!
Reason 9: The lack of surprises is surprisingly disappointing
Okay, so when there are twists in the story and frequent attempts to build crescendos, you at least hope for some surprises at the end of it all, right? Of course we do! But that’s clearly not what the filmmakers think we deserve. So while audiences have been waiting for something unexpected to blow them away, they often find themselves left in the dark. Fries may be great, but without ketchup the snack doesn’t seem complete. That’s all we have to say!
Reason 10: Less Goodbye to Scarlett Johansson and More Hello to Florence Pugh
Okay, so do we all agree that we want a showdown where we all get a proper ending to all things Black Widow and Scarlett Johansson in the Marvel franchise? Now, is this too much to look forward to? Oh come on! It’s a farewell to one of the most enigmatic actors and one of the most powerful screen characters we’ve seen in the femme fatale world in a long time. This lovable badass takes us through 7 exciting and magical movies. Then, all we wanted was for the 8th to be the perfect culmination of a great ride. Unfortunately, the film is too short in this regard. We really wish Marvel didn’t use this movie as a full-scale launch pad for Florence Pugh. We love this girl, there is no doubt about it. Her performance fits perfectly with the screen time she has. But the audience is there for more Johansson magic, and we all wish there was more of her!
Let’s lift the veil!
All in all, the film isn’t as bad as some critics and critics say. This certainly isn’t Marvel’s worst superhero movie. This is just one of those movies that does a lot of things right, but also a lot of things wrong.Well, despite these 10 reasons, you just need one to keep watching black widow – One of the reasons is that Scarlett Johansson, like Natasha Romanova, is a well-deserved female boss!
