There will be only 19 drivers on the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix circuit, with Nikita Mazepin absent from Haas, but where is Mazepin today?
This is his first season in F1 for Mazepin, who is graduating from Formula 2 ahead of the 2021 campaign.
Haas cars have not been developed since pre-season testing, barring minor upgrades, as the team pinned its hopes on a 2022 rule reset.
He sometimes clashed with the team and teammate Mick Schumacher when tensions escalated.
But Ma Zeping’s season has come to an early end as he will not be competing in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Nikita Mazepin misses Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
Mazepin tested positive for Covid-19 during a routine test at Yas Marina Circuit on Sunday morning.

He should have started the Grand Prix in 20th place.

The RAF athlete had a 14th-best finish at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku in June, with Haas meaningless into the final.
A replacement driver will not take Mazepin’s place, as Schumacher’s No. 47 will be the only Haas in the race.
Did the other drivers get caught?
Mazepin is the latest driver to miss a Grand Prix due to a positive Covid-19 test.
Sergio Perez missed the British and 70th Anniversary Grand Prix at Silverstone in 2020 after visiting his ailing mother in Mexico.
His teammate Lance Stroll withdrew from the Eiffel Grand Prix after feeling ill on Saturday morning.
The only driver to miss a Grand Prix after testing positive was Lewis Hamilton.
The 2020 World Champion missed the penultimate Sakhir Grand Prix of the season.
So far, this is the only Grand Prix Hamilton has missed since his F1 debut at the 2007 Australian Grand Prix.
