ITV’s Angela Black premieres episode 4 on October 31 and explores Black’s relationship with his mother, but who really plays her?

Angela (Joanne Frogatt) is referred to the mental health of women accused of psychosis after authorities claim Ed Harrison (Samuel Adwinmi) is her imagination Department.
As she turns custody of her child over to her abusive husband Olivier (Michiel Huisman), her time in the mental hospital proves to be difficult as the episode takes us back to her past through flashbacks.
Her mother entered the photo and told Blake that she had been trying to contact her. She is terminally ill and hopes to reconcile their troubled relationship. Little is known about their history, but we do know that she ditched Angela as a child.
Black finds out that Olivier was hiding Sally’s attempts to contact her – again to add to the reason why he’s the ultimate villain.
Angela struggles with her crying son, too busy to respond to Sally. The next morning, she got a call from the hospital to inform her that her mother had died – at the same time that her baby stopped crying in the middle of the night.

Who plays Angela Black’s mom?

Martin was born on January 3, 1947 and is 74 years old.
Before her most famous role, she starred in several ITV and BBC dramas starting in 1985 – she played Barbara Quinn in practice and Margaret Jefferson in Brookside.
In 1996, the Leeds native toured across the country, appearing in theatres such as Inspector Calls and War and Peace.
From 1997 to 1999, she also played the role of Eve Montgomery, a strict senior nurse at the fictional Holby City Hospital.
Since then, Martin has appeared in 30 British TV series, including EastEnders and Whitechapel as DS Haydon.
The actress is married to Welsh playwright Mike Kenny, and she meet Performing a student pantomime at a teachers’ college in Birmingham in the 1980s. The couple have three sons: Theo, Josh and Billy.
ITV’s series gets mixed reviews
While some women praised the channel for revealing new parents’ struggles, others said criticize They abuse children in episode 4, when Blake wants to prove her son is the reincarnation of God by testing if he can walk on water.
