Power Book 3 on Starz
Power Book III: Raising Kanan premieres Sunday, July 18 on Starz in the US and on Amazon Prime Video in the UK on Starzplay.
The spin-off series is the origin story of the popular 50 Cent character Power and chronicles Kanan Stark’s life as a drug lord.
The series chronicles Stark’s teenage life in South Jamaica, Queens.
When we caught up with Kanan here, he was the 15-year-old only son of Raquel “Raq” Thomas, a cocaine dealer with a burgeoning network of dealers across the city.
The prequels didn’t stop us from showing us that Kanan’s teenage life was just as violent as his adult life.
In the second episode of the series, which premieres on Sunday, July 25, bodies have already begun to pile up.

However, despite knowing what Kanan would become and how he met his ultimate destiny, Book of Thrones III: Raising Kanan will still surprise fans, executive producer and narrator 50 Cent promises.

Power Book III: Raising Kanan will air new episodes every week on Sunday until the season finale on September 19, 2021.
Who is Tony Deep?
Toni Deep is a character in Power Book 3, played by actress AnnaLynne Mccord.

Tony was a big name at the new club by night and a publicist on the Upper East Side by day.
She first appeared in Power Book 3 in the first episode of the series as the owner of Lanes Nightclub.
Luck (Patina Miller) heads to the Lines nightclub to try and convince Tony to let her use the nightclub as a cover for her crew to sell them drugs.
With Tony unwilling to let Luck use the club for illegal deals, the drug dealer sends her a strong and scary message.

To assert her power over Tony, Luck orders (via the microwave) to kill Tony’s beloved pet dog.
Killing the dog sends a message to Tony and the audience, along with a nod to the Godfather’s horse beheading.
In an interview with TV Line, Patina Miller Say That scene: “We only use violence to tell the story, and only when it drives the narrative and moves things forward.
“The death of this dog is symbolic of something bigger.”
AnnaLynne Mccord starring in Power Book 3
AnnaLynne McCord is an American actress, writer, director and former model.

McCord is best known for playing anti-heroine Naomi Clark in the CW series 90210 (2008).
Since then, she has appeared in Dallas (2014), Night Shift (2014-17) and Secrets and Lies (2016).
McCord was born in Atlanta on July 16, 1987, and grew up in Georgia.
During her modeling career, she has appeared in advertising campaigns for several brands including Estee Lauder, eBay and Marc Ecko, as well as Seventeen, Maxim, Playboy and Woman’s World.
As for her acting career, McCord attended a drama school in New York City at the age of 17.
