What is the squid game about?
The hit new Netflix show follows 456 people struggling with debt who are invited to the Squid Game for a huge cash prize of 45.6 billion won ($38.6 million). Little do they know, however, that they are not playing simple children’s games, because if they lose the game, they lose their life too.

Meet Player 212, aka Han Mei Niang
Hany Mi-Nyeo is a crazy, hilarious and hilarious character bent on revenge. Player 212 is having difficulty in the Squid Game. She was initially reprimanded by bad boy player 101 after he refused to work with her. However, Han Mei-niang used her cunning to sneak some cigarettes and lighters into the arena, (we won’t go into details on how…), using the lighter to burn down the hive in the second mission.
After she helps Player 101, he decides to side with her, and their relationship even becomes a little closer. However, once he found out that the third match was an intense physical tug-of-war, he quickly dumped her again.
Player 212 has some of the show’s most memorable lines. When asked what she’s good at, she repeatedly replied “except for the things I’m not good at” that she would be “much more useful than these skinny girls.”

Player 212 was always left out of the team, and despite her best efforts, was a bit left out of the team. Player 101 promises that they will do it together, but after being disrespected by player 101, Han Mei Niang chooses to take her final revenge on the glass bridge.
Love her or hate her, 212 has become one of the most iconic characters in Squid Game this season.
Who is actor Kim Joo-young?
Kim Joo Young is a South Korean actor under Just Entertainment. She was born on September 10, 1976 and is 45 years old.
Joo-Ryoung, who has been acting in the Korean film industry for over 20 years, first officially played Werther in “Plum Blossom” in 2000. She also starred in Bong Joon-ho’s “Memories of Murder”, as well as recent series such as SF8 and Mr. Sunshine.
She also starred in “Babel,” “Castle in the Sky,” “School Nurse File,” and “When My Love Blooms.” Joo-Ryoung currently has 672,000 followers on her Instagram account, which has skyrocketed since the release of the Netflix series.You can check out some of her behind-the-scenes photos of the squid game here.
Player 212’s Fan Reactions Split
Player 212 has long been considered a controversial figure. Kind of like a marmite, you either love her or hate her. Some viewers found Player 212 to be their favorite character in the entire Squid Game.
