Elina Svitolina is a Ukrainian tennis player and former world number three. In the first round of the 2022 Australian Open, she defeated France’s Fiona Ferro 6-1, 7-6 in straight sets. The Olympic bronze medalist will now face Harmony Tan in the next round.
Elina Svitolina’s coaches will be there to support her, even though they are relatively new members of her team.
She recently broke up with her former coach
Elina Svitolina recently parted ways with her coach, Andrew Bettles, with whom she has won numerous WTA titles and reached two Grand Slam semifinals. Betels is British and was her assistant before becoming head coach.
However, at the end of 2021, she revealed that she parted ways with the Beetle because the Beetle had nothing new to introduce to her game.
“We’ve done a good job with Andrew Bettles,” she said in interview “That’s the case when a collaboration reaches a logical end and nothing new can be added. Once we start discussing our plans for next season, it’s clear that something has to change.”
“It was me who suggested ending our partnership,” she added. “It was very tough for me because we had been together for 5 years and it was very tough. I chose my team members thoroughly. I would not rush to wait for a candidate who suits me and helps me achieve all my goals. “

Andis Juska and Günther Bresnik are Elina Svitolina’s 2022 coaches
After parting ways with Andrew Bettles, Elina Svitolina has revealed that her 2022 coaches will be Andis Juska and Günther Bresnik. Former pro Andis Juska will be Elena’s coach. He is Latvia’s second-ranked Latvian player on the ATP Tour, having worked with Jelena Ostapenko and Amanda Anisimova.
Günther Bresnik serves as her counseling coach. From Boris Becker to Dominic Thiem, Bresnick has coached more than 25 top 100 players in his career. He is still coaching Gaël Monfils, Elina’s husband.
“I am very excited to start next season with my new coaching team” Say Elina Svitolina, “With their experience, I believe it will be beneficial to my game. I feel they are the right person at this stage of my career.”
