The highly anticipated “Sex and the City” reboot is finally here, and fans aren’t sure. That’s how the first two episodes of the series premiered last night (December 9) on Sky Comedy and HBO Max. One character that fans didn’t recognize from SATC was Allegra. Let’s learn more about this Peloton coach.
Sex and the City has been iconic since its 1998 debut, and fans hope And Just Like That will bring justice to the original series. The first episode featured branded fitness product Peloton, and one particular scene caused quite a stir.
Just Like That hits the streaming service every Thursday night, so let’s meet the character Allegra.

Who is Allegra?
Jess King plays fitness trainer Allegra in the new series. She is also a real-life senior fitness trainer at Peloton and the founder of Peloton. @mindfull_3. She is a certified life coach and has a wellness program where she talks about food, mental and physical health.
King is also a social media influencer with over 388,000 followers on Instagram and is a former professional dancer. You might recognize her from the 2008 TV show “So You Think You Can Dance.” She pulled out of the show early after breaking two ribs and another.
After recovery, she began dancing in Las Vegas and starring at Cirque du Soleil before continuing her career at Peloton.
The 36-year-old is dating Brass Against singer Sophia Urista. They live together in New York City. They first met in a box in New York, where Urista proposed to Kim at the premiere of her music video “All About You.”
Jess, aka Allegra, shared her thoughts on the new show on Instagram with the caption: “Today is @justlikethatmax I’m excited to be a part of it. I’ve been religiously watching Sex and the City with my mom since I was a kid, and it’s one of our favorite shows, so being included in their latest series is a dream come true!go see the episode @hbomax Now! “

Coach Peloton is a little twisted **spoiler alert**
Many fans have been asking where SATC’s Samantha is, and it’s been revealed that her character moved to London after Carrie told her she was no longer needed as a publicist. With that all figured out, let’s delve into the first episode and see Coach Peloton get caught up in a plot twist.
The first episode saw Mr. Big reference his favorite Peloton coach, Allegra, played by the real Peloton coach, Jess King. The turning point came during his Peloton bike workout, when Mr. Big, aka Chris Noth, had heart problems in the original series and suffered a heart attack.
Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), who married Mr. Big in the first SATC movie, enters the room and finds him collapsed on the floor – dead in her arms.
