Ahsoka Tano actress revealed: Ahsoka made a surprise return to the Star Wars universe this year in the final episodes of the animated series The Clone Wars. With different actresses providing voices, doubling down on stunts and performing live-action Tano, it’s hard to keep up. So, who is the actress behind Ahsoka Tano this time?
Who is Ahsoka Tano?
Ahsoka Tano, formerly known as “Ashra”, first appeared in the Clone Wars movie (2008) as a 14-year-old apprentice. Yoda assigns her to Anakin to teach him a sense of responsibility.
Ahsoka also appeared in The Rise of Skywalker (2019), albeit briefly, as a vocal cameo.
She was a major character in the Clone Wars and Rebel TV series as an apprentice commander and a secret Rebel agent, respectively.
Initially, fans and critics were slow to like Ahsoka. Various media criticized her”half naked” appearance or Calculated cute.
However, she has grown in popularity in recent years, going through a costume change and becoming more dignified and resilient as a character.
Now many people regard her as strong female character The franchise, as a “foil” to Anakin Skywalker, does a good job of highlighting some of his qualities.
Ahsoka Tano Actress: Who Plays Ahsoka?
The three actors portrayed Ahsoka Tano as an animated character (as in Star Wars: The Clone Wars) and live-action (The Mandalorian).
Actress Ashley Eckstein, 39, voiced Ahsoka in The Clone Wars and Rebels.Eckstein and director David Filoni develop this character together over a six-month period.
Filoni encouraged Eckstein to bring elements of her own character into Ahsoka’s personality. As the character continued to develop, Eckstein had to re-record the first half of the first season’s dialogue to maintain continuity.
Who played Ahsoka in The Mandalorian?
Rosario Dawson, of Rent (2005), Grindhouse (2007) and Sin City (2014) fame, expressed interest in playing Ahsoka back in 2017.
That April, she appeared on Good Morning America, crossing her fingers and saying, “Internet, help me!”
The graphic artist gave the campaign a little boost with a piece of fan art, blending Rosario Dawson’s face and body with the Ahsoka character.
SlashFilm, March 2020 only Rosario Dawson will appear in The Mandalorian’s second season. They describe it as “a fan casting dream come true”.
Production on season 2 is underway, with the first episode set to air on October 30. Many fans expressed support for Dawson’s portrayal of the character.

Ashley Eckstein Said it was her dream “Continue to play Ahsoka Tano in every form.” Still, after learning about Sen’s cast, she reached out to her fans to thank them for all their support.
Ahsoka Tano’s stuntman
To make the final Clone Wars duel between Ahsoka and Darth Maul as epic as possible, creator Dave Filoni chose to play the fight in real time.
“I hope it’s a tough fight,” he said. To that end, he brought back former Moore actor Ray Parker and introduced the Lauren Mary King Depicting Ahsoka Tano.
The two performers don motion capture equipment and devise a sequence that involves real-time acrobatics.
