While Wordle has a different vocabulary for its daily challenges, Byrdle focuses on classical and choral music terms.

On the app’s website, Byrdle is described as mimicking word and “Just for fun.”

How to Play Birdle
Birdle is an everyday word guessing game that can be played online and does not require users to download an app.
The goal of the game is to use a series of hints to guess the mysterious five-letter word associated with choral music called “byrdle”.
Simply press the Enter button to submit your five-letter guess, and after each turn, the color of the tile changes to reflect how close your guess is to the mystery word.
If any of your letters are highlighted green, you have the right letter in the right place.
A yellow letter means the letter is in the word but in the wrong place.
Finally, if any letters are highlighted in grey, they are not included anywhere in the secret word.
Similar to Wordle, Byrdle offers a new word puzzle every day, and users have six attempts to guess the mystery word in a 24-hour period.
Also in true Wordle style, Byrdle players continue to share their cryptic green, yellow and grey emoji patterns on the Twitter timeline to represent their wordplay results.

The wordplay name was inspired by the Renaissance composer William Byrd, combined with the viral internet trends surrounding Wordle.
Byrdle was created by the choir and Robert Brignall, a mathematician and singer interested in coding, but the game is credited with QuireMemes To imitate the idea.
Brignall through a @QuireMemes The game jokingly introduced the chorus-focused game on January 11, 2022.
The next day, the real Byrdle was up and running!
@rbrignall Created a Twitter thread where every day he explains the Byrdle challenge and (where applicable) adds an exciting fact.
