What happened to Playboy’s “girl next door”?
Not long ago, Hugh Hefner was with us, living with a group of people in his infamous Playboy mansion. young woman he calls his girlfriend. In fact, to the rest of the world, (at best) suspicious things are quite normal for these young women. They both date the same man, they both live in his house, and they both have a place in his life. There is a main girlfriend and several additional girlfriends, each smaller than the other. We’re not going to pretend we understand this lifestyle — we’ll readily admit it’s not for us — but the show “The Girl Next Door” was a hit, and now fans are wondering what’s going on. Where are the girls? What are they doing? We investigated it for you.

Holly, Kendra and Bridget were first introduced to the world in 2005. For nearly five years, the three women shared their much older beau with Holly Madison, Hugh Hefner’s number one girlfriend. The women lived in his house, spent the pocket money he provided them, and lived under his watch. They ate what he made, lived in the bedroom of his house, and when he asked, they had timed. Every girl goes out of his life to pursue her own life, and the show finally ends. Of course, it’s not the three new ladies without the final season. Some say these young women made a name for themselves with Hef, but that’s neither here nor there. The world has no right to know why they dated Hef, why these women chose the lives they chose, or what was the motivation behind their choices. We saw what they wanted us to see and that was the end of the discussion.
Where are the girls?
Holly Madison want more. She wants mother, baby and husband, and more in life, and she leaves the mansion to find it. She traveled to Las Vegas, hosted her own reality show, and wrote several books. She has two children, she is married, she is divorced. She’s also been very outspoken about how unhappy she is at home with Huff and the girls, although that shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. Bridget Marquardt is another OG girl next door who also has a life of her own. She was never as interested in being there as the other girls, but she persevered. She moved out of the Playboy mansion to film travel shows and as an unselected pilot for her own reality show, and she remains in close contact with Kendra and Holly. In fact, she attended both of their weddings.she got her Own Paranormal Podcast – This is no surprise to fans. She’s always been open about her Halloween obsession and all things scary. She got engaged in 2015 and has been very open about her struggles with infertility.
Kendra Wilkinson became the most famous of all girlfriends. She is the one most accused of using Hef to make her name famous. She was young and immature, and she had never been so happy in the mansion. She ends up being accused of cheating on Hef when she meets her future husband (NFL player Hank Basket), but then in a wild twist, she’s actually at the Playboy mansion in 2009 marry. She and her husband landed on their own reality show, they had a lot of problems, he was accused of cheating, they had two kids, they separated, they got back together, they went through it all, and finally got a permanent divorce in 2018 . She’s now airing another reality show on Discovery+ until November 2021. She is a luxury real estate agent in Los Angeles and her show is “Kendra Sells Hollywood.”
Subsequent girlfriends include Crystal Harris, who married Hefner in 2012. She was married to a man 60 years her senior until his death in 2017. She was last in the media because of her ill health. She suffered from Lyme disease, toxic mold poisoning, and eventually fell ill from breast implants. She is at home with twins Kristina and Karissa Shannon, who are now doing their own thing. The twins admit there was little romance in their relationship with Hefner, but they were there to have fun and become famous. One of them was embroiled in a sex tape scandal with former ‘The Hill’ stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Platt (Karissa). She was later arrested for felony domestic battery of her sister (2017) when she confronted something about her and knocked out her teeth. The year before, she was arrested for DUI. Her sister Christina was arrested less often than her twins, but she was also arrested and charged with a misdemeanor when she slapped her in the face – and that’s when Carissa threw a safe at her monitor. They haven’t had the best time since they were on TV.
