At one point, her self-esteem was so low that she started making massive social media profiles to the catfish people. Dr. Nozaradan’s Plan
While she says she has stopped cheating people on the internet, her food addiction problems have proven to be much more difficult. After meeting with Dr. Nowzaradan, Ashley was told she would need to lose 20 pounds in a month to qualify for bariatric surgery. While 20 pounds is well below what most people on the show need to lose, Ashley is still struggling. After a month, she had only lost about 10 pounds. Dr. Nowzaradan suggested she try therapy to address the psychological factors. Unfortunately, even with the extra resources, Ashley couldn’t achieve her weight loss goals. At the end of the show, she pledged to keep working on the surgery.
