Tottenham youngster Malachi Fagan-Walcott took to Twitter to thank Mourinho after he was sacked yesterday.
This sports It was reported yesterday that Harry Kane was the only first-team player loyal to Mourinho when he was sacked.
But it’s clear that Fagan-Walcott feels he owes the Portuguese a debt of gratitude.
In March 2020, Mourinho made Fagan-Walcott make his Tottenham debut in a 3-0 Champions League loss to RB Leipzig.

Mourinho is not known for developing young English talent, dating back to his first period at Chelsea.
Perhaps his critics can cite the way he failed to give Fagan Walcott more chances after his debut a year ago.
Others might point to this emotional message as proof that Mourinho is actually linked to the club’s young players.

Ryan Mason is now in charge of Spurs on an interim basis and his background in youth coaching means he is likely to be looking for their young star in the final weeks of the season.
Fagan-Walcott is currently on loan at Dundee and will therefore not be playing for Spurs again this season.
But he will be planning to break into the first team when he returns next term.
