Tony Cascarino issues serious warning to Liverpool, claims one player is exhausted

Liverpool lost at home to Everton for the first time since September 1999 on Saturday night.
Richarlison and Gilfi Sigurdsson ended Everton’s ominous spell at Anfield as the reigning champions’ struggles continued.
Jurgen Klopp had to use another centre-back partner when Jordan Henderson was limped by Nat Phillips in the first half.
In The Times, Tony Cascarino said he felt Liverpool’s midfield was as worrying as their defence, while Gini Wijnaldum looked exhausted.
If Henderson and Kabak last longer than half-time, they will set the record for the longest running streak of a Liverpool CB partner this season.
In fact, the record remains at 2.5 games (Phillips and Henderson).

“I think Liverpool’s midfield is as much a problem for them as their defence at the moment,” he wrote.
“The best trio is Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and Gini Wijnaldum, but with the top two either in defence or injured for most of the season, Wijnaldoum Mu was exhausted in my opinion.
“Thiago Alcantara is obviously top-notch in possession but he draws a lot of fouls and I’m not sure Liverpool would be a better team with him, like Philippe Coutinho It’s the same when you’re there.”
Problems at the back also cost Liverpool their first-choice midfielder, with a knock-on effect for both Thiago and Wijnaldum.

If Wijnaldum or Thiago play in midfield with Fabinho and Henderson, it will undoubtedly help them play.
But injuries have skewed the balance of the team, and fatigue looks to be an issue.
Ozan Kabak has had another tough game in the Premier League, but bringing him on so late doesn’t help.
Klopp has a lot to work out and the game is getting more and more intense.
