Three Arsenal players could benefit from Patty’s injury, including a goalless 24-year-old

Arsenal have confirmed their official website The midfielder Thomas Partey is out of shape to play against Leeds United on Sunday (4.30pm). Let’s take a look at three players who could take his place in the starting lineup.
Danny Ceballos
This was supposed to be the season when Dani Ceballos became the key man in Mikel Arteta’s midfield.
Arsenal turned his loan deal into a permanent deal in the summer after a decent first season in England.
However, the silky Spaniard has been in and out and has not featured at all in Arsenal’s last five Premier League games.
He was on the bench for the games against Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers but failed to play.
His technique is very typical, Arsenal want players in his position, with confidence on the ball and good feet.
Ceballos’ contribution, however, fell far short of what the Gunners expected of a man of his caliber. 24 appearances with zero goals and one assist is not good enough.
The 24-year-old needed to prove himself again, and Partey’s unexpected absence provided the perfect starter.
Martin Odegaard
How wonderful will Martin Odegaard’s Arsenal debut against Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium be?
The young Norway international has shown his talent since arriving in the January transfer window.
Odegaard can only play a few times off the bench and Arsenal fans have yet to see his full range of skills.

Arteta’s preferred 4-2-3-1 formation requires two defensive midfielders behind an expressive front-four.
Emile Smith Rowe currently occupies the No. 10 role favored by Odegaard.
To accommodate the two of them, Arteta could let Smith Rowe go deeper alongside Granit Xhaka and push Real Madrid’s loanee in attack. It’s unlikely – but it’s fun to dream.
Mohammad Elneny
Perhaps the most sensible, logical and daring option would be to restore Mohamed Elneny.
After a good start to the campaign, the Egyptians have boiled over and have not been used regularly by Arteta.
His defensive attributes make him ideal for trying to counter the Leeds whirlwind attack.
But sometimes you need to fight fire with fire. Maybe Arteta will step out of his comfort zone and choose a bolder option?
