RB Leipzig defender Angelino has spoken of Liverpool and insists his side are still at a disadvantage in the Champions League tonight.
according to BBCthe Manchester City loanee has spoken of the way in which Jurgen Klopp’s side punished mistakes.
That’s exactly what they did in the first leg of the tie, where they took a 2-0 lead.
The strikes counted as “away goals” before the return, despite the fact that both legs were played away from England and Germany.

“It was tough after the game [against Liverpool] Because we played very well. We could have put some pressure on them and got some of the opportunities we got.
“We felt like we gave them two mistakes and a team like Liverpool, they have top quality and if you give them a little bit, they will kill you.
“We are optimistic because we played a good game and if we don’t make mistakes and give up chances, it can turn things around.
“We have a chance to play in the Champions League – we are alive, the atmosphere in the team is good, we are all positive. The pressure is more on them than us. We are underdogs.”

This has never been seen on previous European nights, but Leipzig could be more confident if the game takes place at Anfield.
That’s because Liverpool have lost six games in a row there since the start of the year and have scored just one home goal.
A neutral stance could give Liverpool a welcome boost as they look to build on a 2-0 lead.
Angelino’s Leipzig have knocked out Manchester United this season and will be hoping to turn things around and do the same for Liverpool.
