Khabib Nurmagomedov is a Russian mixed martial artist. He was born on September 20, 1988. He is the only Muslim martial arts fighter with the longest unbeaten record (from April 2018 to 2022). He also broke the record for being the first Russian-born to win the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Khabib Nurmagomedov belongs to an Avar family in Russia. His father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov (legendary MMA coach) opened a gym on the ground floor of their home. Khabib got his martial arts inspiration from trainees who came to the gym for martial arts training. His father was also a medal-winning athlete and veteran. Habib started training with his father when he was 8 years old. At the age of 9, his father made him fight a bear in Dagestan.
His family moved to Makhachkala in 2001 and he started wrestling training when he was 12 years old. At the age of 15, he began training in judo, and at the age of 17, his father trained him to practice the Sambo. At the same time, his family moved to Kyiv (Ukraine), where he continued to practice. UFC 254 and Retirement:
Khabib Nurmagomedov had his final fight against Justin Gaethje on Saturday (24 October 2020). As usual, Nurmagomedov wasn’t ready to give his prey a second, he cornered him, suffocated, and won the submission for the 11th time.
After winning, he bent down, buried his face in his arms, and cried. This is not a normal move for this monster. Then he woke up, took off his gloves and placed them in the center of the cage, announcing his retirement. Finishing his career in Abu Dhabi with 29-0 and 11-0 UFC finishes, the ultimate fighter will be remembered with great pride.
His legendary father, Abdulmanap, died (July 2020) after 19 months of fighting with the Gulf, and according to Habib, his mother pleaded in front of him not to be without a father play.
