‘The only positive’, ‘MOTM’: Some Newcastle fans applaud 29-year-old’s ‘solid’ performance against West Brom

These Newcastle United fans loved what they saw in defender Paul Dummett, 29, against West Brom.
When Newcastle and West Brom face off today, neither side can break the deadlock.
Both sides made a lot of shots. 22 in total. But with only eight on target, neither team could find a way to score.
The Baggies have more possession and more shots, but Steve Bruce’s team does hit the target more often.
The result puts Newcastle just four points above the relegation zone, with West Brom themselves still stuck in the relegation zone.
One Magpies player who has done well is Paul Dummett, the 29-year-old who won four aerial duels against the Baggies and has many supporters raving about him.

Dummett – should play a few games
Welsh only played 266 minutes His last game in the Premier League this season was against Southampton just over a month ago.
However, when Dummett played in the Magpies’ Premier League game this season, they have only lost once.
It was a 1-0 loss to Sheffield United in January.
Newcastle next face Aston Villa in the Premier League. The last time the two sides met, they lost 2-0.
Clearly, these Magpies fans probably wanted to see Dummett in that game, and would love to see more.
