“We just talked to him. He’s at home, he’s fine, he’s totally fine now. He’s been in hospital for two days to get the right treatment, but he’s feeling fine now,” Arteta said. We’ll see how he recovers.
“It will take a few days for him to recover from it. He wants to come back as soon as possible, that’s what he said to me. He feels good, that’s what he said to me today.
“He really wants to come back, but I don’t know, it shouldn’t take too long. I’ll give him a call. He mentioned he’s at home and he’s feeling fine. Everyone’s been in touch with him.
“He was very supportive of every teammate with messages and calls, and he watched the game like the rest of Kearney.”

Good to hear early signs that Aubameyang won’t be out for long with the disease.
The signs were positive and it made for a fantastic night for Arteta.
The 4-0 victory set up a meeting with Arteta’s predecessor, who has a stellar career record in the Europa League.
