Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta sacked Rumours surrounding Sheffield United’s Norway international Sandbergaccording to reports Sunand discussed other whispers that Jack Wilshere could rejoin the club.
Arsenal struggled in this game, finishing 12th in the Premier League after only 13 points.
The Gunners have failed to win their past two league games and lack the creativity going forward. The club has been linked with Wilshere and Berger as the fans chanted the avant-garde.
The critically-acclaimed midfielder Berger played for Belgian side Genk under Gunners assistant coach Albert Stowenberg before joining the Blades for £22m in January (BBC).
Ahead of Arsenal’s Europa League tie with Molde tonight, Arteta explained that a relationship with Genk could be a source of media speculation, which was not concrete.
He said: “That’s probably why (there is a link) because Albert knew him very well.
“He’s a player he likes, but we haven’t shown any interest in that player. He’s a Sheffield United player and we’ve done nothing.”
I rate Wilshere “very high”
Wilshere, meanwhile, provided 30 assists for the north London side, who played alongside Mikel Arteta. He was part of the team that won the FA Cup in 2014 and 2015.

During the meeting, Arteta praised his former team-mate’s role as a player and as an individual. However, he admitted he had not considered the possibility of signing the midfielder.
“We haven’t analyzed the situation,” Arteta said.
“All I can tell you about Jack is what I’ve said in the past. As a player, as a teammate and as a person, I speak very, very highly of him.
“Unfortunately, at the moment we are not seeing that. We are focused on the players we have and we are trying to do the best we can with them.”
