Andre Doak parted ways with WWL-TV
On Monday, August 16, Andrew Doak announced that he was leaving WWL-TV.
My TV career is coming to an end tonight.
This is the day I look forward to, both excited and anxious.However, over the past 7 years, I have been very fortunate to have fulfilled my dream of being a sports anchor/reporter, and I am very grateful for the @WWLTV in New Orleans. pic.twitter.com/rCMRbaZfSC

He wrote: “My TV career is coming to an end tonight. It’s a day I look forward to, excited and anxious.
“However, over the past 7 years, I have been very fortunate to live out my dream of being a sports anchor/reporter, and I am so grateful for the last 4 years spent at New Orleans @WWLTV…
“I fell in love with this city in a way I never thought possible. The people are the best and have such a unique and passionate fan base. While I’m leaving tomorrow, I’ll be back soon. I Will miss this place.”
Viewers took to Twitter to wish their favorite sports anchor the best of luck in their future pursuits.

Doak is a Texan and a football and hockey player
Andrew Doak is an American journalist best known as a sports anchor and reporter for WWL-TV in New Orleans, Los Angeles.
Doc was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and attended James Bowie High School.
He is a proud graduate of Texas Tech University with a BA in Broadcast Journalism.
according to yankee tv, Doc has been passionate about sports since he was a child. He grew up playing football and lacrosse.
Before starting work at WWL-TV, Doak Reporter and anchor for Nexstar from 2014 to 2017.
Details of Doc’s personal life are not known, as journalists prefer to keep his personal life out of the public eye.
