Ansel Wolf Pierce made his TV debut in Episode 1 of Euphoria Season 2 as his character was seen exposed while sitting on the toilet. The scene sparked an overwhelming response online, with many starting to call the actor “toilet guy“.
While many shared their reactions on social media, Pierce said his DMs were also inundated as he revealed that he received hundreds of messages after the episode.
He told Focus: “When I first shot this episode, I didn’t expect a lot of fan reaction. I kind of thought, ‘Oh, you know, I’m going to get some funny texts from friends, maybe family members. ‘. But it was an amazing response. As far as Instagram, Facebook, I got a lot of fan mail – everything! I got 500 or 600 DMs, so it was definitely a surprise.”

“I also had people write me absolute papers in my DMs about how people thought I might wipe my ass after filming this scene. I thought: ‘Oh my God, that’s too much! “But it’s really interesting to see every detail of how people are engaging with the show.”
