Ben Prendergast to voice Týr in upcoming God of War: Ragnarok
The end of the series’ Norse saga God of War: Ragnarok shows Kratos and his son Atreus searching for a way to bring the ashes of Atreus’ mother to the highest point of all nine realms . On Thursday, September 9, Santa Monica Studios shared the first real look at God of War: Ragnarok.
God of War: Ragnarok is confirmed as the final installment of the Norse saga in the series a few years after the events of God of War (2018).
A tantalizing new trailer shows that Atreus is still looking for answers – following the previous game’s reveal of Atreus’ giant legacy and a hidden prophecy only Kratos saw.
According to Sony’s entourage blog postwhichever path Kratos and Atreus choose, will decide the fate of all who live in the Nine Realms as Ragnarok approaches.
As for the game’s opponents, the still very frustrated Freya returns with Thor – like the ever-fashionable Mimir.

according to Encyclopedia BritannicaTýr is one of the oldest Norse gods.
He is clearly a god who cares about the forms of war – especially treaties and justice.
In one of the many Norse stories, Tyr put his hand between the jaws of the giant wolf Fenrir, and the gods planned to set a trap to bind the wolf.
When Fenrir realized he had been deceived, he bit off Tyr’s hand (thus Tyr was identified as a one-handed god).
During the events of Ragnarok, Týr is prophesied to be devoured by the equally terrifying dog Garmr.
Not only is TYR there, but both of his hands are still there, which means FENRIR hasn’t bitten off a hand (assuming they’ll use that little detail), but we can see FENRIR in this title!

In God of War, Tyr gained the ability to move between dimensions and slide seamlessly between the worlds of the numerous pantheons, skills Odin was eager to learn.

In the God of War: Ragnarok trailer, we see Kratos free Tyr from the giant wooden door.
We don’t know if Odin put him there, but Kratos and Atreus will join Tyr and possible Unite their forces against the Allfather.
Meet Ben Prendergast
Týr is played by voice actor Ben Prendergast.
According to his Official websitePrendergast has voiced General Hux in the Star Wars Resistance and LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, Apex Legends, Patroclus in Hades, Croft in The Sojourn, and Jae in Midwinter’s Scavengers.
In 2016, he won the Green Room Award for Best Actor for his role as Alex in Simon Stephen’s film. seawall.
