The tweet itself contained a photo of rapper Lil Dicky with the caption “Believe in something…”. Even if it means sacrificing everything.
The tweet suggested that LeBron James thought the photo was depicting former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
It quoted James’ response to the image saying: “None of you listened to this man, but now the whole world is listening.”

In 2016, Kaepernick took a knee during the national anthem at the start of an NFL game to protest police brutality and racial inequality in the United States.
To this day, he remains a civil rights activist, but many believe the NFL has blacklisted him. Kaepernick hasn’t played in the NFL in more than five years.

The original tweet appears to have originated on social media last year.

Many who stumbled upon the resurfaced tweet from LeBron, Lil Dicky, Colin Kaepernick wondered if it was legal.
However, it looks like the image is fake and most likely photoshopped.
Who created the original image of the hoax tweet seems to be because of the striking resemblance between Lil Dick and Colin Kaepernick.
That being said, LeBron is a very socially conscious person who has supported Kaepernick for years.
It is extremely unlikely that he would have mistaken such a high-profile figure.
as someone on Imgur wrote: ‘I hope this is true’.
Sadly, this is not the case.
