Albert Rosti (born 7 August 1967) is a Swiss entrepreneur, association officer, national chairman of the Swiss People’s Party and member of the Swiss National Council.

Albert Rösti grew up in Kandersteg in Bern and studied agronomy at ETH Zurich. He graduated in 2002 with an MBA at the University of Rochester.
Rösti joined the Bern Ministry of Economic Affairs in 1998 and was Deputy Secretary-General from 2001 to 2003 and Secretary-General from 2003 to 2006. Subsequently, he became a director of the Swiss milk producer.Since 2013 he is the owner and manager of a business and political consulting firm Dr. Rosti Ltd..
From 2007 to 2014, Rösti was President of Agricultural Information Services (LID). In May 2014, was elected chairman Taking smart energy policy action Switzerland (Ives). In May 2015, Rösti succeeded Caspar Baader as company president swiss oilSwiss Fuel Traders Association.
Rösti lives in Uetendorf and is married with two children.
Political career
From 2000 to 2007, Rösti was President of the Uetendorf chapter of the Senior Vice President. Since January 2008 he has been a member of the Uetendorf local council and in 2014 became mayor of Uetendorf, succeeding Hannes Zaugg-Graf.
Rosti lost the 2010 Bern government elections. He was first elected to the National Assembly in the 2011 Swiss federal elections. For the 2015 Swiss federal elections, Rösti 2015 was campaign manager for the senior vice-president for federal elections, where he ran unsuccessfully for the National Committee in Bern.
In November 2015, the Bern chapter of the SVP nominated Rösti as a candidate for the 2015 elections to the Swiss Federal Council, but he withdrew his candidacy for the committee two weeks later.
On April 23, 2016, Rösti was unanimously elected SVP Chairman, succeeding outgoing Chairman Toni Brunner.
