AKM Jahangir Khan (21 April 1939 – 15 February 2020) was a Bangladeshi filmmaker who made 43 films. He is known as the “movie Mughal”.

Khan was born on April 21, 1939 in Jodagram, Comilla. He completed his matriculation at Dhaka College. He then completed high school and graduate studies at Jagannath College in 1960 and 1962, respectively.
Khan produces films under his own production company, Alamgir Pictures.he made similar movies Noyong Moni, Kizikori, Simone Perrier, Chandranath and Shuvoda. Noyong Moni Winner of National Film Awards in two categories, Kizikori won the National Film Award in one category, Simone Perrier won four national film awards, Chandranath won four national film awards, Shuvoda Winner of National Film Awards in thirteen categories. In 1978, Ahmed Zaman Chowdhury awarded him the title “Mogul of Cinema”.his last movie Long Yin Noyong Moni Released in 1998.
Khan passed away on February 15, 2020 at the United Hospital in Dhaka at the age of 80. He leaves behind two sons and a daughter. The latter is the famous Bengali singer Jhumu Khan.
