Erin Christina Frisch (born August 25, 1992) is a Korean bobsleigher. Frisch represented South Korea at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
sports career
In 2012, Frisch became the world junior bobsleigh women’s singles champion, competing as a German.
Frisch failed to qualify for the German bobsleigh team at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
She retired from sledding in 2015 at the age of 22. After retiring, a German coach hired by South Korea contacted her to become a naturalized Korean and join the Korean sled team. At first, she refused, but in 2016 she acquiesced and agreed to a second request, when she started missing games and international sports. In December 2016, she became a South Korean citizen so she could legally represent the South Korean team at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
