About Aldo Orsola: Italian basketball player (1945-)
Aldo Ossola (born March 13, 1945) is an Italian former basketball player. At 1.92 m (6’3 ⁄4″), he is a point guard who can set the tempo of the offense and the game for his team. He is a member of the Italian Basketball Hall of Fame, inducted in 2008 by his brother Luigi Luigi Ossola played professional football in Serie A.
On February 3, 2008, Ossola was selected by the Euroleague Basketball Experts Committee as one of the 50 greatest contributors to the Euroleague of the past half century.

Ossola won five FIBA EuroLeague titles (1970, 1972, 1973, 1975 and 1976) with Ignes Varese, the great Italian league club of the 1970s, He also reached ten consecutive Europa League finals (1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, and 1979), an almost impossible record.
Italian National Team
Orsola is a member of the Italian senior national basketball team. With the Italian national team, he participated in the 1969 EuroBasket.
