Anupam Tripathi was born on Wednesday 2 November 1988 (Age 33; as of 2021), in New Delhi, India. His Korean name is Ahn Woo-beom. In an interview, he said that “Woo” stands for Actor and “Beom” stands for “Tiger”. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. He goes to school in Delhi, India. He became interested in acting after playing slaves in Spartacus’ stage plays. When talking about his first acting experience in an interview, he said,

Before that, he was more interested in singing. He started acting training in 2006. In the same year, he joined Shahid Anwar’s Behroop troupe, where he trained as an Indian playwright Shahid Anwar. Originally, he planned to attend the National Academy of Drama in New Delhi, but in 2010 he moved to South Korea to study Korean for three months at Kyung Hee University in Seoul.
