Who is Boba Fett of The Mandalorian?
In the past, it was rumored that Boba Fett and The Mandalorian were the same person, as they were both bounty hunters wearing the same Mandalorian armor.
The Mandalorian (also known as Mando or Din Djarin) was accepted into the Mandalorian culture just as Fett (a clone of his father Jango Fett) was accepted and trained to be a skilled bounty from birth Same as hunter.
However, Showrunner Jon Favreau clarified that electronic warfare They are indeed not the same person:
“Our guy [Din Djarin] Being The Mandalorian, we definitely explore the Mandalorian culture,” Favreau said.
Meanwhile, producer Dave Filoni added: “Boba Fett is a clone, by asking [creator George Lucas], he will say that Boba Fett is not a Mandalorian, was not born a Mandalorian. He’s more of a man indoctrinated, indoctrinated into the way of life, and mastered the armor. “
Also, it’s worth noting that Djarin’s iconic Amban phaser blaster bears resemblance to Fett’s rifle when it debuted in the 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special.
Meanwhile, Fett electrocutes a Pannaron with his rifle while Luke, R2-D2, and C-3PO go on a rescue mission to help Han and Chewbacca (the Millennium Falcon crashes on Earth in the holiday special), Thus saving Luke, R2-D2 and C-3PO.
In The Mandalorian, Djarin also used his blaster to save his ship – Razor Crest from a ravinak.
So they may not be the same or related person, but Fett was definitely a big inspiration for the titular character.
Do fans prefer him in The Mandalorian or The Book of Boba Fett?
While the purpose of the new Disney+ series is to provide a deeper understanding of The Mandalorian character, some fans have already given the book negative reviews.
They preferred Fett as a secondary character rather than helming his own show because episode 1 was obviously too slow and “Just not very exciting. “
However, this is the first episode, so some scene setup is necessary. We recommend that you give it some time for the story to develop, and that’s when the real action begins.

The first episode of boba fett really reminds you that he never intended to be the main character in anything. Great in Mandalorian, but here?whimsical person

The Mandalorian is really about being slow and character-centric. Boba Fett’s performance barely does that, lol. Like Boba doesn’t seem like his own person to me, maybe that will change, but the show still feels like they’re just relying on his name.

The first episode of the Boba Fett show doesn’t have the wow factor of the first episode of The Mandalorian, but it’s pretty good. Love that it’s more of a spaghetti western than the classic movie western vibe of The Mandalorian.

I love Boba Fett, but The Mandalorian feels fresh, which looks a lot like a 1983 story written by two 12-year-olds playing with their Kenner toys — right down to Jennifer Beals’ cameo https://t.co/g7kgfoqrkE

So, The Book of Boba Fett is great. It lacks some of the magic and “je ne sais quoi” that The Mandalorian has to keep. It feels empty, and the tone is just a touch, among other things. It doesn’t feel like the Boba Fett I grew up with. #This Book of Boba Fett

The only issue I have with the Boba Fett show so far (it’s not a spoiler since it’s almost shown at the end of The Mandalorian) is that he’s now some kind of boss, not a killer/bounty hunter. I think it’s easier for me to enjoy it if he keeps it that way.
