Jack Peter Grealish is an English footballer who played as a winger or attacking midfielder for Premier League club Manchester City and the England national team. Grealish joined Aston Villa at the age of six and made his debut on loan at Notts County in May 2014.
A player eligible to represent England or the Republic of Ireland internationally, Greeley played for the Republic of Ireland under the age of 21 before deciding to play for England in April 2016. He played for the first time for England’s under-21s in the 2016 Toulon Championship in May 2016. The journey of life
Grealish was born in Birmingham, West Midlands, and grew up in nearby Solihull. His primary school was Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Primary School and his secondary school was St Peter’s Roman Catholic Secondary School in Solihull. His maternal grandfather was from County Dublin, his grandfather was from Gort, County Galway, and his maternal grandmother was from Sneem, County Kerry.
Between the ages of 10 and 14, Grealish played Gaelic football for John Mitchel’s Hurling and Camogie Club of Warwickshire GAA. In Gaelic football, he played against former Aston Villa and current Manchester United defender Aoife Mannion.
Grealish scores in the GAA game against Dublin in Warwickshire in the quarter-finals of the 2009 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship on 4 August 2009 at Croke Park.
In April 2000, Greeley’s younger brother, Kieran, died of sudden infant death syndrome at the age of nine months. His great-great-grandfather, Billy Garraty, was also a footballer. He played for England and won the FA Cup final with Aston Villa in 1905.

- Grealish, a lifelong Aston Villa fan, joined the club at the age of six after joining the Highgate United youth team. On 31 March 2012, he was named an unused substitute in the 4-2 home defeat to Chelsea in the Premier League.
