Tottenham may be without Sergio Reguilon when they return to the Premier League against Newcastle this weekend.
sky sports The Spaniard is reportedly battling an injury that meant he was not in full training during the international break.
Fellow left-back Ben Davies has withdrawn from the Wales squad with an injury that could leave Spurs vacant at that spot at St James’ Park.
If neither Davis nor Reguilon is fit, here are three players who could come in…

Jaffet Tanganga
Jose Mourinho made changes last time out against Aston Villa, which included bringing Tanganga back to right-back.
He can also play left-back. If he meets Miguel Almiron, he cuts to his left foot from the right, and being a right-footed player on the left might actually help.
Tanganga deserves a shot at the team, and while it’s not ideal to switch him to the other side, he’s more than that.
He always gives 100 percent and doesn’t let the Spurs down.

Matt Doherty
Given Doherty’s recent struggles at right-back, this may not be popular with Tottenham fans.
But Mourinho is left back lost to Liverpool in January.
That means it’s an option, and the main benefit is keeping the Tanganga on the right.
Prime Minister injured Doherty was knocked down himself, but he may be deemed fit to play this weekend, the report said.

Dennis Serkin
Given that Danny Rose is not in the Premier League squad and has no shirt number, Serkin is the next recognised left-back.
If he plays Villa, it will be his senior team debut.
Mourinho is usually opposed to taking such risks, but he is a fan of the 18-year-old.
He praised Cirkin The Irishman is definitely on his radar in December 2019.
Perhaps the injury crisis will provide Cirkin with an ideal opportunity to play and impress.
