DMX in Jail for 90 Days

The raper DMX is in jail for 90 days on charges of theft and cruelty in the state of Arizona.

Earl Simons is the rapers real name who has been held into custody since December. According to report on Reuters the judge didn’t give him credit for time served.

“Maricopa County Superior Court commissioner Phemonia Miller gave Simmons no credit for time served and placed him on 18 months of supervised probation,” said Reuters report.

Simons was charged with assuming someone’s identity at a clinic in Arizona with the intention of not paying the medical bill.

DMX had pleaded guilty on charges of three criminal cases against him and had said that he didn’t own any animals.

According to Reuters,  he was arrested in May on drug and animal cruelty charges after sheriff’s deputies searched his home. Police found dog carcasses and malnourished pit bulls.
